Harold Bogigian was born on June 25, 1924, and served in the United States Navy during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He achieved the rank of Radioman Second Class and was assigned first to the USS Stevenson (DD 645), a destroyer, and later to the USS PC 612, a patrol craft sub-chaser.
During his service, Harold operated in the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, where he played a crucial role in ship-to-ship and long-distance communications, an essential duty in anti-submarine warfare and convoy defense.
