Harold Green

Harold Green

Harold Green was born on May 23, 1924. He married MaryWalker on November 1, 1941, and they enjoyed 79 years of marriage together. The couple raised four children, welcoming daughters in 1942, 1944, and 1957, along with a son in 1943.

Harold was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from October 24, 1944, to January 27, 1946, with the 36th Infantry Division. He saw combat in Central Europe and was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge for his service on the front lines.

His additional honors include the Victory Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the American Theater Ribbon, and the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, which features one Bronze Battle Star and one Overseas Bar.
