Joseph Loviglio

Joseph Loviglio

Joseph P. Loviglio was born on August 22, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Army Air Forces during World War II, assigned to the 449th Bombardment Group. This unit operated B-24 Liberator bombers in the European Theater, carrying out strategic bombing missions over Axis territories. Loviglio's service made a significant contribution to the Allied efforts in Europe during the war.

After the war, Joseph returned to Philadelphia, where he lived for the rest of his life. He passed away on June 20, 2024, just two months short of his 100th birthday. His dedication and service are remembered and honored by his community and family.
