Lou Miller will turn 100 years old on August 15, 2024. A proud World War II veteran, he served in both the medical corps and as a musician.
Lou performed alongside renowned entertainers such as Mickey Rooney, Hal Linden, and Dave Brubeck, offering solace through music during the war. He was present on D-Day, where he assisted in caring for the wounded as they arrived ashore under grim conditions.
After returning home, Lou built a successful life as a Ford dealer, running his business for over 30 years before retiring. A man of many interests, he enjoys reading, solving puzzles, playing cards, and attending lectures. His curiosity and love of learning remain strong.
Lou has experienced profound loss and exhibited remarkable resilience, surviving the deaths of two wives, a long-time partner, and two of his children. Today, he is the last of the three children born to his first wife. Still sharp and full of wit, Lou continues to share his stories and wisdom with those fortunate enough to know him.
